Stone Country Records rising star Ben Gallaher has officially dropped his debut album, Country in the House, available now on all streaming platforms. The 15-track project includes several previously released tunes, as well as three new songs - “Lovin’ You Gets in the Way,” “Damn This Truck,” and “Have You Ever.” “Lovin’ You Gets in the Way,” which will serve as Gallaher’s next radio single, was co-penned by 3x ACM Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean, along with Neil Thrasher and Lee Miller.
“I believe that, no matter who you are, there’s a song for you on this record,” said Gallaher of the project. “My hope is that listeners latch onto a lyric, a melody, or a guitar solo and feel it. I’m pumped for it to be out in the world!”
Country in the House was co-produced by Mickey Jack Cones (Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett) and Derek George (Randy Houser, Joe Nichols), as well as Neil and Patrick Thrasher, who produced three tracks - “Still A Few Cowboys Left,” “Have You Ever,” and “Lovin’ You Gets In The Way.”
A triple threat singer, songwriter and self-taught musician with a strong reverence for guitar masters, Gallaher’s songs serve as autobiographical anthems of growing up in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania that radiate a passion for the lyric-driven country music that influenced him. His debut EP, Every Small Town, released to rave reviews and exemplified Gallaher’s undeniable talent and appeal. American Songwriter declared that his “authenticity shines through,” and that Gallaher is “the type of artist country music has been missing for far too long.”
